Landscape Yard & Sales Assistant
About the opportunity
This is a wonderful opportunity for a sales assistant to join our growing business. The role will be varied, with no two days the same. You will be involved in a combination of office work, yard work and sales. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service through prompt advice and recommendations on our products and accurately fulfilling orders
- Developing a sound understanding of the products that we sell
- Assisting customers to load goods into their vehicles and, when required, operating a front-end loader to assist in loading products onto trailers / trucks
- Maintaining a clean and organised yard that meets our quality standards
- Handling sales – POS system, trade dockets and running end of day sales reports
- Ensuring that the shop is fully stocked and well presented
We are open 7 days a week, with hours differing depending on the season. You will ideally have flexibility in your work hours and will need to work at least one weekend day each week.
